A different internet salesman emailed me yesterday to see if I was still in the market. I told him that I was, and he tried to convince me that I was way off on the price. I showed him a recent ebay auction for a '14 with AC with 3000 fewer miles on it that was within 4 hours of my home (they are 2) that had a "buy it now" price of $42.5 that received 0 bids nation wide! During our conversation they actually relisted it with a new but it now price of $41.5K! He said shipping would be $1500 (I have an enclosed trailer), the market would be higher in a couple of months (I told him it was currently January with highs in the single digits and the new owner wouldn't even be able to drive the car off the lot, etc. He then sent an email that asked what my offer was, if I was paying cash, etc...but they never countered my original offer. I was going to think about it for the weekend, but before the afternoon was finished another salesman/manager chimed in and said "We aren't interested in low ball offers" What the hell...am I missing something here. I emailed that person back and said "you didn't even counter my offer. Good luck with your sale." I emailed the original salesman this morning and told him that whoever that was, their attitude cost him a sale.

The search goes on.
