Yzinger: For me the "catch can" is sort of like a condom! The catch can will retain all that nasty stuff that will go to the internals. Once inside it can over time of 9 months or more create one heck of a mess, no cleaning that up my friend.
With the catch can condom you can occasionally remove and discard that nasty waste.
The first time I drained my newly installed catch can I was beside myself. I was shocked at what the contents looked like, mixture of water, oil and some gas, sort of looked like baby poop. No way do I want that going back into my engine.
Best you think about getting a catch can condom so you don't end up in trouble over the long run!
