If you truly want safe you never turn that bottle on.....you leave the car stock. There is nothing i know of more violent on a engine than nitrous. Silenoids stick all the time. Performance fluctuates constantly do to bottle pressure and trying to get that one last hit out of the bottle. It's a pita.
The screwed up part is if you optimized your na set up like myself and others have said. Then your current "safe" nitrous set up would have all it could handle in a race.
Looks like others here have offered some good info. Thread isn't a terrible loss.

This isn't my first car with nitrous. I have a bottle heater and pressure switch. Never had issues with solenoids. Never had a back fire. Not to say it will never happen, risk is less imo that revving it to 7800 on the dyno... tuner agreed. I'm sticking with what I got. I appreciate the opinions... maybe someone else should buy an intake and show me how it should be done.... there's an idea!
