Well, now a red one popped up. It's a no a/c car and has 4000 miles on it. Price is $47k. I have no issues with my 1LE, I've just always wanted a Z/28. I love their exclusivity, and bad ass looks. I jumped on eBay and took a look and it seems the price is right in line. Judging by the 2014 Z/28 production numbers it seems that non-a/c cars are much rarer than cars with a/c. But that means there is no radio? Can someone clarify this? Would you guys take the plunge or would you wait to see what is on the horizon for a 6th gen Z/28?
Rare does not always equate to value as like anything else it depends. IMO long term, cars with the AC option will be worth more even though more of them were made. I think the non-AC for $47K is too strong and should be more in the lower 40's. Asking price is one thing and selling price another as we all know. Only you can answer the question whether to purchase a Z/28 but ours is staying in the family and yes, love the naturally aspirated last of the breed.
