You used ARP bolts so follow their torque spec of 25 ft-lbs so 26 is fine. The balancer was easy, I used the ARP bolt without the washer to get it started because with the washer it was too short. Once I got it so far I put the washer back on and drove it home, no big deal. With ARP balancer bolt you just torque to 250 ft-lbs.
Thank god for ARP and getting away from wacky GM torque specs on those stupid TTY bolts.
