I actually do like my salesman though. I have bought 6 other cars from him in the past and he has always been very straightforward with me. He did admit that he does not know or understand a great deal about the production process. He has been selling cars for a long time and has never seen a car with so many special orders as the Camaro. He even admitted that I appeared to know more about the process and the event codes than he did!
I'm just happy to have this forum with all of the information that it provides so that I can track the progress myself. Without it I would be lost!

I would rather track the information myself. Why he would just make up information is beyond me.........other than we did tell him if the car wasn't ready before the snow season starts we didn't want it. More communication from him would be reassuring, but accurate information is what I'm really looking for.
He's probably just telling us what he thinks we want to hear.
