The GM guys are trying to say that the LS engines are far more advanced and Ford is stupid for trying to keep up with them with their older engine, when its already been announced that the Coyote is supposed to be the answer to the LS engines...but then again GM is also working on its own new series of engines which would keep them a whole generation ahead anyways
Did this help any?...If you're still confused then think of it this way, Ford is like Xbox and GM is like Playstation...GM/Playstation is a generation ahead and has a superior product because of such, but Ford/Xbox has such an enormous fan base and reputation that they're still competitive even after the fact.

Very good except that in this catergory the Mustang is more like a Playstation since they both have the bigger fan base.
