Guys, get your facts straight. Ford used the 4.6
2v engine for the Mustang until the 2005 model year. Then they put the 4.6
3V engines in them. The hp difference was 40hp (260 to 300). So Ford added 40 more hp to the Mustang when there was
NO Camaro/Firebird or Challengers to compete with.
