SO here is an idea i've been looking at and following closely. For the past few years a group on Rennlist with GT3/RS cars meet up in the Smokey Mountains. Its very unique to have 30 or so GT3 cars in one place, all enjoying the mountain roads, do a track day, and just gather with like minded folks.
What started as a few dudes tossing the idea around to make a mountain run has progressed into 60+ cars.
I love car shows, I love track days, but what I love most is just driving.
I think this would be a unique event for Z/28 owners to try and arrange. Somewhere relatively central, but with good scenery and twisty roads to enjoy. Maybe have it also located somewhere near a track as well, to make it a weekend affair. It essentially is our own little hotrod power tour.
