That's what I meant by a shut-down sequence. The one I know of has you leave it in neutral, turn the key and pull it out, get out of the car and push the 'lock' button to shut off the engine and lock the car. Then, when you push 'start', the unit knows you're in neutral and will allow the car to start. That's what I want, but I read the first post wrong, and thought everyone was talking about remote start, not push-button start. I'm a fan of both.
