Buy a used one...I sold my excellent Halltech system for like 200$.
I would buy high flow cats and maybe a drop in filter. Or just buy cheap headers and a canned tune with a drop in filter. That would be cheap and youd gain 3-5 mph on the 1/4. After that, its all $$$
The mod I felt the most was mid pipe(catted) when boltons. Its a solid 15-20rwhp. Headers didnt feel like a big upgrade then...I was used to it I guess.
K&N is the cheapest. Guy made over 510rwhp with (with H/C). So it works yeah.
