For one the resale in an LPE is usually the going value for the car plus the LPE package.
Their name is worth the extra price. As far as HP others will push a motor harder and give you a few more horses, however at the price of engine life. Look into it there are LPE cars out there with over 100k niles on them and they are still strong.
I am not going to knock any builder out there, but LPE has been around doing what they do longer than about any of them.
I choose LPE because I dont want to work on a car all the time, I want to enjoy it. I have a '69 to tinker with, I want this one to play in without worry.
Do your homework and go with what suits you best, that is what this car game is all about brother.
