Transmission Cooler Install- How I did Mine

With the help of other members suggestions in another thread, I finally got my cooler installed. First, due to some fabrications of the front crash bar for clearance issues, this may not be for everyone.

The cooler I selected was the Derale remote mount 25 plate with an auxiliary fan for cooling without forced air. I mounted the top to the crash bar with the majority of the cooler extending downward and bottom mounting to the lower brace.

I had to cut vs removing the lower air deflector to allow for fan clearance as well.

I bought an extra set of cooler lines for $25 and cut them to accept hardline to AN fittings.

The below pic show original and new supply lines in dark/light red arrows respecfully, and return lines in dark/light blue arrows. This set up completely bypasses the in-radiator cooler, but could be easily converted to a series setup.

The rest is just basic plumbing and wiring. The cooler sits low and centered and should allow for good airflow to condenser/radiator.

Thanks for other members help and suggestions and hopefully this will give others inspiration or ideas.
Now to see how well the cooler works!
