Thanks for all the wishes on the sale. She really is a special car and I will regret the sale the minute she leaves the garage. I have a lot of great memories, personally, with the R and of course the race pedigree is equally as enjoyable. Watching Eric Curran take first place this year in prototype and Jordan Taylor win at Lemans are just a couple of the moments that I look at the R and say "pinch me...…...I own a car that was driven by these guys."
The prop shaft is made by Mark Williams Enterprises. It is feather light.
I know there are guys building race cars out there and trust me you cannot build a car anywhere near this for this price. Give Pratt & Miller a call and ask for a roundabout price on a build. I am pretty sure you would be looking at 300 plus k. The race pedigree is gravy. Chevrolet lists this car (1 of 4 Z/28.R's) as one of the most significant Camaros built. I have articles documenting such.
