Yeah, your thread was the one I was looking at quite a bit through the whole process. I did have them wrap mine, but the surface between the flare and fender was left as-is (except on the fender itself). Separation is pretty bad, as you can see. And that's with 3M VHB tape.
Having to remove the front bumper to do anything behind it is largely what I was thinking for the future.. which is why I want to be able to take them off without damaging the wrap, flare, or fender AND not have a monstrous hassle. Not to mention stability when I track the car since I plan on taking it to the track more and more in the coming years.
