I'm just above 900 now with zl1 diff and its holding strong. The half shafts are bulkier than my dss ones rated for over 1000 so I'm not in the least bit worried about the diff/half shafts.
There are some shops that can really beef up the 6l80e if you want to spend the money. Not sure how that compares to a t400 swap though its been awhile since I priced out both. Good luck though!

Appreciate that - what was the cost to rebuild your 6l80? Would be going through Abruzzi transmission in Ohio for the th400. Just trying to get myself to point I can make it through the upcoming season and not be overly concerned. Sounds like the ZL1 Diff and half shafts is the way to go
