You need to first set-up the number of Favorite Pages you want - see the Owners Manual starting on page 6-7. Then see page 6-10 for store and retrieval.

On the Steering Wheel Control Toggle Button when you scroll up or down All Favorites Lists will cycle through... You press the Toggle Button to change audio source eg AM to FM to XM to Aux In to USB back to AM...

You can also mix bands within a Favorites list - when I had the XM trial I had my favorite XM stations and FM stations ins FAV 1, then the others were dedicated to either FM, XM, AM...
