hey guys.. i've been reading through the forums and i've noticed that many of you, who have ordered your camaros around the same time or waaaay after i ordered mine, have already gotten your orders accepted by GM, or have TPW's and VIN's, or even already have their cars!..
i ordered mine on the
7th of JULY of this year at my dealership up here in markham, ontario, canada (markville chevrolet)
who said i would have the car in 8-10 weeks.. i literally live
40 mins away from oshawa where they make the cars and yet now
14 weeks later, i still don't have as much as a TPW or even confirmation if the order was even accepted by gm..
i don't understand how ppl in america who ordered their cars after me already have em in their driveways! i keep calling gm canada once every week and they keep telling me the same thing: that they see my order in the system, but no TPW.. same with my dealer..

so i'm wondering a few things, since i don't believe this is typical.. like if this is because i live in canada and maybe american orders get priority? or maybe it's cuz it's a manual transmission? or maybe it's because i ordered the car in ABM? i hear that's a rare color.. as you can see i'm just grasping at straws here.. the not-knowing and the wait is killing me.. and it really blows to have to take the the TTC (our transit system) to get around since i traded in my previous car as part of my order for the camaro..
can anything be done to speed things up? anyone out there who might have some insight as to what's going on so i can get some sleep? maybe someone who works for the oshawa plant? or even gm? anything would be greatly appreciated.. thank you!
