^ Don't get me wrong. I'd love the forged bottom end of the LS9. But I think for the average camaro owner, the LSA or LS8 will be more than adequate when it comes to handling the power added through mods....
How I justify this:
If you have more money then dirt and you just have to have the baddest Camaro out there, then you'll spend the money to make the LSA/8 as bad as the LS9 anyway.
But I don't think most of us fit into that category. So we'd probably rather have the less expensive power plant, which is more than capable of producing Stock LS9 numbers by spending much less. Sure you're giving up some reliability with out the strength of the LS9 bottom end. But unless you are trying to get 700rwhp you won't need the forged components.
