How hard was it to remove the fin? Wasn't that a bit of work to remove the headliner just to get at the attachment method for the fin?
Yes, I had a body shop remove it, weld in the hole, sand it and paint it. It is not hard to remove; there is a video on the forum of how to do it. There are two fastners (sp) by the rear window, then slide the panel alongside the window, ease down the headliner, reach in with 10mm socket for the bolt and unhook two wires. You lose OnStar, Bluetooth (phone), and Serious radio. I wish I could have gotten the photo to work, because it really looks good, gives a sleek look to the roof line. Probably lower your e.t. times. Btw my friends loved your comment.
