thanks for all the feedback. felt like i should give additional info and clear up some misconceptions. this car was purchased buy a good friend of mine who owns a body shop. he bought it and repaired it as his own personal track car.purely cosmetic damage. when i sold my gen5 1le he offered me the z28 since he intended to buy a z06.this car has been to lime rock,nj motorsports park and watkins glen and has seen speeds over 150mph without issue.car is mechanically perfect and i welcome a full thorough inspection.
my train of thought on pricing is simple and yes i know the market well. z28's with under 10k miles are averaging $45k with clean title hence my $35k asking price.
this is not a show car and if you want to wax it and go to your local car show than maybe a $45k car is a better option. if you want a great deal on a low mileage track/driver car then this is it. it can be registered in any state without too much hassle and is currently insured for 45k with collector insurance for $750 a year.
as far as pedigree i think this car has an interesting history. the dealer was accused of price gouging on this car and when they couldn't sell it it wound up getting hit on showroom floor lol. and yes my "tarted" black out vinyl lens covers are easily removed. I'm in no rush to sell and track season is approaching quick so it will definitely be seeing more track duty if it doesn't sell. i appreciate the feedback and will be happy to answer any questions
