Styling is usually already locked in at this stage unless someone called a last minute audible.
GM has been working with mix material architecture in the CT6 and the C7 has an inhouse built aluminum space frame chassis so this also will come to pass with regards to the top dog car's supposedly flex issue. This has nothing to do with the base model car being released on time.
We will see but we've been here before with every new revolutionary design change comes challenges.
