Someone on another forum posted a graph of a few cars...cant recall which forum. Might have been this one....wherever though.

A Roots car, Centri and TT....now obviously there are a huge array of variables there too, but what it highlighted is what I've said for a long time about centris and people seem to ignore.

And the graph of torque etc proved it....even though you may not be seeing positive pressure on a boost gauge at lower rpms, or even very very low boost....dont for one second think it isnt moving lots of air and assisting power. Because they definitely are.

The TT car, and presumably they were fairly small turbos as all graphs where around the 650-750 range, but the lower rpm torque from the turbo car was noticeably lower than the centri, which actually wasnt that far behind the Roots.

And top end, of course both turbo and centri were the winners. Centri's really do offer good gains everywhere, as well as instant throttle response which can make the car feel far more exciting.

Both are great though.
