If my tires are cool, say the car has been shut off for some time, and the tire pressure reads 20psi on the drag radials, and then I immediately heat them up on a little burnout and take a run down the strip and they worked the best at this original cold psi setting. What do you do when you get back in line and are immediately up next? They now read 23-24psi because they're hot? Do I leave them like they are or do I lower them back down to 20psi right before the run?

I hope this makes sense!!!
Lower them back to 20psi before each run.
