The steel strap eyelets are on the back wall of the trunk. These are intended to safely secure the full size wheel (see owner's manual) but this wheel position completely blocks the trunk.

I pull the spare rearward to the right rear eyelet and strap it down. Nothing's
perfect. I just don't want to drive 70 MPH on the interstate with a donut
after I've blown a tire. I also keep AAA.
