For me I notice I go through cars unless I get "thee one". I personally have a thing for Silver. I looove the look of silver and I literally bought my ZL1 sight unseen 18 hours away because I found a silver 12 automatic with 8,000 original miles.

I'm a mechanic and have never bought a car before without thoroughly looking it over, but when I seen this car I knew I had to have it and I had been looking for about 6 months for a low mileage silver and never could find one local. I feel bad how many questions I asked the guy about the car, but he was an older gentleman and took about 100 pictures and multiple videos of every last part of the car for me.

I had the car shipped and had to drive a few hours to a nearby city to meet the trucking company bringing it. On the drive I started thinking about how much $ I spent on a car sight unseen. I was nervous as shit. Finally got there and looked it over. Car was perfect! Drove it 3 hours home and was amazing. Couldn't believe how much better it was then my supercharged 5th gen SS.

So personally for me it's very important to get the exact color I want and pretty much the exact car I want. It's worth the wait.
