If no, you'll lose power. Fluid laminar flow is super important, and exhaust gas is no exception. The V6 cannot cope with 3" dual exhaust properly. Why do you want a 3" exhaust? The cabin drone will be immense if you drive highway a lot.


Edit: If you have parts of the stock exhaust, they're actually 2.25". The ARH Catless downpipes are actually 2.5" and are nice (I have a pair) but from where the stock H pipe is back is all 2.25". Maybe start there?
Well i was in a facebook group and there was this dude named Camaro ZLS who posted his exhaust videos and said he had a 3in Exhaust with the same Xpipe as well so that's one main reason why i was getting lost/confused.

Then in the comments there were other camaro owners saying that they went with 3in exhaust.

So i wanted to get like more opinions and thought posting here would be more informational
