How about… the greater the diversity the more it prepares the student for the work place, where often the best ideas come from the collaboration of several diverse view points. Each person involved will bring a voice based on their perception of the world from their own experiences. The middle aged white guy doesn’t and can’t really-truly know what life is like for a young Hispanic male, and vice versa. But, working together and pulling the “best of” from their ideas will make a better widget for a larger customer base.
