Depends on how deep you stage, your personal reaction time, and how well you 60'. Just keep gradually backing up your timing on the tree till you find a sweet spot.
I chase time slips, and usually just sit and wait for the other car to leave - I feel better when I can see where they are on the track, rather than having them behind me.
