Running at High Plains Raceway in Byers CO. Track is almost 2.5 miles long.

MP4S tires (300 treadwear), stock Z/28 (fuse mod only, plus an OEM Gurney flap), stock alignment, recommended 15w50 oil. Drip tray removed from hood. Saw oil temps as high as 262 on the last session (30 minutes), weather was mid 70's.

Had so much fun, I darned near ran out of fuel at the end of the day. The car runs/handles amazing, sounds great, eats up the pavement. I love it. Those of you who claim to never want to track your car, but otherwise enjoy spirited drives thru the countryside are missing out. The main differences are 2 fold: No oncoming traffic, no cops around.

Looks like a great track...Thanks for sharing
and you are correct on everything you said about spirited street driving vs track, no comparison whatsoever, a much better and way safer controlled environment that just happens to be much much more fun then trying to do anything close on the street...not even possible..
