Bench racing is pointless... running at a track puts the driver in the equation and with that ANYTHING can happen!
Driving your car at the track is completely different than taking off at a stop sign.... especially if you've never been at track, you're nervous, you're running on street tires, you're adrenalin gets the best of you... lights come down... you hit the gas and then proceed to just sit there and spin.... Trust me... I see it all the time...
