Cut the secondary cats off, weld in some straight pipe where they were, then undo the clamps. That should fix the CEL. You will need to support the downpipe as it has flexpipe at the top.
Do not throw away that cat back!
Disclaimer: I never ran with the open downpipe’s but with NPP hooked up I could tell a noticeable difference in sound with a secondary cat delete.
