I didn't go back and read all this thread like I normally do before commenting, so excuse me if it's been done already.
I have to fix a person's car who is not easy on the brakes and or stupid cali norm of coming to a full stop on the highway suddenly. Warping the front rotors.
A quick trip to O'Reilys auto for a $18 per rotor turn machining takes that "tire vibration" right out. A "tech" might look at them and say they are not grooved so they are "fine". For the $ I'd pull them and DIY to eliminate that possibility.
It happened often enough and I let it go too long and ruined the wheel bearings which I then had to replace also. In my experience those make a growl at 40-60mph and not a vibration...
