Absouletly now doubting here.
I know we heard it straight from the horses mouth but he also wanted us to keep it somewhat under wraps until it became official. Since I got your email I was wondering if it was actually official yet so we could be a little more open about it now. That was the whole reasoning behind my thread.
I've been hinting about it's demise ever since our meeting with Scott but just didn't want to cause any problems so that's why they've been only hints up until now.
BTW: For others to know I was one of those who was dead set on ABM based on pictures I had seen. I was like obsessed with the color. My wife didn't want another blue car and we were having....lets just say....heated discussions about it many times. Finally I took her with me to go visit Classic and see the colors they had on the lot. When I saw the ABM it was a nice color but for some reason in person it just didn't do it for me quite as much as the pictures. At different angles/light it was awesome looking but in others it was just to turquoise/every so slight purplish to me. So...I decided to help save the marriage and would go with another color. It's a great color...I'm not knocking it at all and others have their own opinion of it but for me it just didn't light my fire when I saw it in person. I then went back to think that my wife's first choice SIM w/black stripes might be the ticket but as we were leaving the dealership a VR w/white stripes came in. My wife and I immediately spotted it from across the parking lot. We both got excited about the car and loved the color combo. I know it's just the same ole....same ole....non-metalic Red but it's just what made both of us jump with the same reaction.
I then saw another ABM in person when we were at the FBody Day at the State Fair a couple weeks ago. It only confirmed my initial thoughts. It was cloudy outside and it made it just to turqoise looking for me.
Only problem with the Fair was that after seeing more colors up close I changed my mind like four different times. IOM w/white stripes.....NO...SIM w/gloss back stripes....NO...CGM w/silver stripes.....Hmmm.....maybe IBM w/white stripes......DAMN.....they just all look so good! So...for now I'm just sticking to the initial color that got me exicted....VR w/white stripes.
