Shouldn't have. How old is your battery? These cars are very sensitive to batteries on their way out and will throw all sorts of weird codes. p0606 can be caused by a momentary loss of power to the ECM. Did you disconnect the battery before swapping over the steering wheel? I would start by charging fully, or replacing the battery resetting the codes with a scan tool. If that DTC returns it is essentially a death sentence for the ECM
