If it's dusty, i just use a pressure washer and then leaf blower. Spotless after. ~30 min: pulling car out, setting up, spraying, drying, wiping out door/hood/trunk jams.

If it's actually dirty, the wash process with this ceramic coating is via a hybrid rinseless wash method as directed by my detail shop: Pressure washed. Then apply rinseless wash (lubricating proprietaries far superior to 'foam' car wash). Specific sponge used on car with no pressure applied. Then apply the sealer/drying aid/gloss enhancer (freshens the ceramic coating too). Microfiber towel to dry. ~1 hr: pulling car out, setting up, spraying, drying, wiping out door/hood/trunk jams. Wheels and wheel wells are washed via car wash as normal and wheel woolies.

The experience with prep work and the experience applying the coatings is the deal breaker with the coatings adhering and performing for a long duration of time. Correcting the paint is not something I want to risk learning to do on my vehicles and spending the time associated for my desired end result. Same to be said for the ceramic coating application. The team that did my work will tell you their experiences using new processes/products and the learning curves associated.

Had all my work done at Distinct Auto Detailing:

Call and talk with the detailing side of the business, Alan the co-owner or Andrew the Manager. 1st and foremost gentlemen to deal with. They will educate you on all the work they will perform and also the proper wash technique after the work is done. They are always available for questions and advice too. They want you to be able to maintain everything yourself, with confidence, and do it successfully.

They have tiered packages (numbers are off the top of my head):
-basic package is just the car's paint being corrected/ceramic coated, with a 2yr warranty(~$800, lower end coating)
-mid-level with wheels/brakes being included to above, with a 5yr warranty (~$1200, mid level coatings)
-then glass added onto all of the above, for a whole car package, with a lifetime warranty (~$1,800, high end coatings)

I have the $1,800 example. Best money I've spent on any of the various cars I've owned in my lifetime.

They have Xpel PPF available to be installed too. Tint as well. Craig is the co-owner who manages this end of the business. Again, great to converse with and always aiming to exceed expectations.

Definitely worth the drive to have them do whatever you desire to your car or they will pick-up/deliver to you as well.

If you reach out to them, they'll know who Jon is with the white Z/28. Tell them I said hello
Alan Rich and Andrew Oshnock??
