The Holden built cars (GTO, G8, SS) have a niche following that is very strong. They didn’t sell well when new but hold their valve well on the used market. I think the SS will draw more interest when it comes time to sell.

Interesting related story I can share.

I bought a 2004 GTO M6 for less than $28k. I drove it 11-1/2 years and 115k miles. I listed it on Craigslist for $9,800 on Saturday night and was contacted within 15 minutes by a guy that want to come right over with cash. That car was rebuffed by the overall car community but became very desirable anyway. Your SS will be similar.

FYI - I made the cash buyer wait until he could meet me at the bank Monday. He handed the money to the teller, she handed me a deposit slip, I signed the title and the car was his.
