I too have washed my car in the rain, while its snowing, etc., and then pulled it inside to dry. I know its more work to have to wash it, but its the safest and best way to ensure your finish remains looking "showroom new".

Invest in a good wax/polish asap, as well as a good quality car wash, and a couple of wash mitts, and you'll be set.

, I don't know how many times iv'e gotten the stink eye from friends,neighbors,family members, for washing my car in the rain.They just don't understand. Out here in texas we have clay dirt that gets in a fine mist kicked up from cars and lands on your paint.Most people don't notice it until it gets really bad.
