1. Test voltages on the following terminals backprobed in the X161 harness connector at the right rear top of the engine Key On Engine Off (KOEO) for 5 volts on the Gray wire in terminal 11, Ground on the Tan wire in terminal 5, and
0.3-4.7 volts on the Yellow wire.

2. Check for loose terminals at the X161 connector.

3. If the voltage is OK on the Yellow wire in terminal 12 at the X161 connector, recheck backprobed at the ECM on the Yellow wire in terminal 36 in the X1 connector. It should be the same as on the Yellow at the X161 connector.

4. Check for loose terminals at the Engine Control Module (ECM).

I've seen chewed wires near the connector
