Sbe didn't survive...
well the sbe 6.0 didn't survive tuning. We lost crank sync at 8k rpms due to rfi it picked up after changing to brisk plugs. Its still in one piece, just rattles hard
So here's what we're doing. Everything is bought and goes to the machine shop this week. Theyre assembling the shortblock and im doing the rest.
Lsx block (416ci)
K1 crank 4" stroke
Oliver billet rods
Wiseco k448x7 pistons w/ s718 pins
12.3:1 compression
Frankenstein f310 heads with 1207x springs @1.75 height and inconel exhaust valves
John bewley specd cam- .669/.669, 243/249 on a 116+5
Moroso 20143 oil pan
Ca 625 head studs
Reusing the cid 5.0 16 injector intake
Athena gaskets
Adding a 325pph billet atomizer in charge pipe to try and cool iats/equalize the fueling to the center cylinders. Keeping the gt55 94mm but going to a 1.40 housing from the 1.12.
Should be back in the car and tuning by the end of next month. Love to hear what you guys think! Coming soon, 4 second passes!
