So many seek me out at a PCA Event with wide eyes and jaws dropped asking about this big white car with a Chevy badge. The delta has widened as the latest GT3s are no doubt faster, but the Z/28 is one Hell of a beast that runs with or in front of anything built up through 2016 AND still is more fun than these "techno-wizard" cars of today.

Same here. The more and more I researched, looked over the reviews and data, the more it became evident this car is special. It was super rare and came out for a limited time at an awkward moment for GM. They just unveiled the C7 Z51 in 14 and then the C7 Z06 in 2015. On top of that they were already pushing the Gen 6 Camaro. This car went unnoticed and many scoffed at an $80K Z/28 when those choices were available.
Now it is finally getting its recognition. Asking prices are going up because the demand and recognition is going up while scarcity keeps dropping. Yes, you can probably find someone who sold their car recently for 40K. Moving forward that will be more rare as most people understand what kind of car they have now. It appears the dealers have caught on too.
