EVO is a small car, looked at Lancer's when I bought my Vue , nice enough but still that economy car feel, and my tester had issues that I believed a new car shouldn't so I walked away, and Mitsu does not have a sterling record of reliability. EVO X is a race car, gonna have Recaro seats which may not be comfortable for a long ride, meant for safety over comfort. Options for an EVO probably be less then the Camaro as well, attempting to keep weight out of the car. Both of these cars rock, it is merely a difference in how they are executed by the manufacturers, ricer or not, it's a great piece of machinery, and should not be disrespected because of where its manufacturer is based.

I think it isn't quite a good comparison because IMHO, they aren't for the same demographic. I think the Evo is more directed toward an Asian crowd (and I AM Asian.) I think the idea is great, and the execution pretty good in certain respects, and the performance really, really good. Would I buy one? Nope. Why? Because I don't like it - just preferrence. There's nothing really wrong with the car, IMO, but it's just not of any interst to me. My brother just bought an '03, and yeah, it's okay, but just not my cup of tea. Will it drive around my '02 Z28 around a road course? Yes. Will I pull away from him like he's tied to a stump? You D@MN right!

I take offense to this... j/k How about an F4 Wildcat? Those were pretty cool

I was considering an EVO X MR but decided its too much of a track racer.
The cars I was considering was the BMW 135i, Infiniti G37S, STI, EVO X MR and maybe the G8 GXP. Now I am 99% sure I will get the Camaro SS LS3 manual. A perfect blend of power, good handling, looks, room and fun to drive. And the AWESOME sound of a REAL RWD V8 LS3 with dual exhaust.

I can't say anything better. I think it will come down to person preferrence more than anything. Camaro, to me, has always just been a car for an enthusiast-like person. In my eyes, it's never been everyone's car; I mean comeon, who wants a hump in the floor under their feet? Anyhoo
