1. Check for 12 volt power to the MAF on the Pink wire. KOEO

2. Check for ground on the Black/White wire.

3. Key on, sensor disconnected, check for 5 volts on the Yellow wire coming from the Engine Control Module.

4. Wiggle the connector at the sensor to see if you can make the reading on the scanner come and go.

The Yellow wire should produce a 0-5 volt square wave signal back probing the wire with the engine running.
Expect between 2,000–3,900 Hz, depending on the Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT).
