Just passed by the dealer on my way home. No news is not always good news! To make a long story short, I ordered in August. The seller told me it would be about 4 months. But I figured about 12-14 weeks, as many people on the boards had gotten their 2LT in about that time frame.
So, I call the dealer in the first days of October for a follow-up. They tell me the seller doesn't work there anymore and transfer the call to Mr Gravel (its the Gravel dealership). He tells me that they are moving all Chevrolet operations to their other dealership, across the bridge. Because of that, all order where "batch-made" and they don't really know when they are coming in. He's pretty sure they're coming in first half of November, though.
As I said, I've just been there today and they told me they still don't know when it's coming in, but all orders have been delayed to
at least mid-December!
Also, they won't be offering the service on this side of the bridge, but I can leave my car at the dealer on this side and a valet will drive it to the other dealership if I want
Now, my current lease is still good for 16 months and I'm actually losing 100-125$/month if I transfer it. Also, I don't want get my car learn how to drive it in the snow. November was OK, because I figured I'd have a few weeks with no snow to get used to the RWD. I'm really starting to think I should cancel the order and re-order in January to get it around April. That would save me 400-500$ and I'd get it just in time for Spring.
I guess I'll sleep on it for a few days...
