We have 30+ 5th gen Camaro's with setups in the 650-700whp at 7-9# of boost. Something is off with your setup.
It is too common for shops or installers to just immediately blame the blower without looking at other potential flaws in the build. The supercharger makes the same amount of air on each setup. So why is yours so low? At roughly 20hp gain per lb of boost, that puts you at a minimum 140+hp gain. Realistically 200whp gain is average on well put together cam/heads cars. At 70 hp gain at 7lbs you either are backed up or have some conservative tuning or something holding the setup back from its true potential.
