I would say possibly the belt slip could be suspect as well. But he is making common boost numbers for this application. However knowing that boost numbers is nothing but a measure of the amount of air that the engine is not consuming. (pressure/restriction). It is possible the setup is not flowing well causing it to appear to have a descent boost number, but not utilizing the amount of proper airflow.
The customer states the base horsepower numbers were done on the same dyno, then later states that the cam was switched out when going back to the same dyno with the Supercharger. Well this is the biggest red flag for me. What cam was installed now, and what did it base at? At 7.5# of boost theoretically that is good for 40-50% gains over base. So what would this car base at with the new cam in question??
