Sometimes you have to put quite a bit of pressure on the pump to get the tube lined up properly. Sometimes the tube needs to be bent slightly to get it to line up properly, but taking the pump guts out is the best starting point.

I got my pickup tube in and its mounted correctly now, i can’t get the oil pump to its designated bolt holes, how do i go about bending the pickup tube. A little heat do the trick ?
