I'll wait till supply meets demand then buy on my terms. I don't do deposits. Negotiate terms THEN show the dough. Sounds fishy...You gonna know when he gets car #21? Keep your cash and walk away till he has em on the lot. Don't worry, they're gonna build plenty.

Better idea, find out when the dealership owners yaught payment is due and go in the day before

<edit> If the dealership wants $500 before even negotiating a deal take your business down the road.
