Not only in base price, but slightly less for insurance and a crapton less for gas (won't need premium and the MPG is better). With the 2LT, my loan will only be 4 years (putting half down), and I'm 23 years old. I don't want to be in a crapton of debt so early in my life, and I think a 2LT/RS Camaro is a pretty kick** car for a 23 year old (or heck, for any age). I have the rest of my life to buy a V8 if I want one.
Anyone else tired of the V6 hate? :/

You have pretty much took all of the words out of my mouth. I'm turning 23 in January and I work part-time at UPS and I would love the SS but after many of aspects that you've also stated, the V6 is the smarter buy for guys like us. We would rather have a V6 camaro then buy the V8 and end up getting it repoed because we go into major debt. Maybe in a few years we will trade our V6's in for the V8's?
