I cut the 4 wires for the DRL to put through the rubber dust cap and re- soldered them you don't want to leave that open and let condensation or dust in and for the HID bulbs with ballasts u just used the included grey harness it comes with and cut the wires and only used the green and black wire for low beam since mine was only single filament and left out the high beam wire, later on I can rewire it for high beam also never needed to use it. for the fog light amber switch back you would just tap into the the turn signal wire for that too there are no error codes at all runs like factory OEM. If your not wanting to cut any of the factory harness's and leave it untouched I prefer you get this harness
